En romantisk komedie med zombier...Shaun er fanget i daglighedens kedsomhed. Han tilbringer det meste af sin tid på den lokale pub, The Winchester, sammen med sin kammerat Ed. Shaun skændes med sin mor og forsømmer sin kæreste Liz. Da Liz vrager ham, beslutter han sig langt om længe til at få styr på sit liv.
